Montreal based Fruits Haby has contributed $50,000 to support the Tamil Community Centre project in Toronto, demonstrating the growing involvement of Quebec-based entrepreneurs in community initiatives.
The donation was led by President Shanmugalingam Sinnathurai, a philanthropist who has supported numerous projects in the Tamil homeland, reflecting his commitment to cultural preservation and community development.
The event was attended by Vijay Thanigasalam, Member of Provincial Parliament of Ontario for Scarborough—Rouge Park, and Santha Panchalingam, Board Director of the Tamil Community Centre.
This generous contribution represents an important step toward creating a vibrant community hub offering programs, services, and cultural activities for families, youth, and people of all backgrounds in Toronto.
