Mississauga Creations celebrated it’s 20 Years of Tamil Theatre Excellence in Canada

கனடாவில் மிசிசாகா க்ரியேஷன்ஸ் – 20 ஆண்டுகளின் வெற்றிகரமான மேடை நாடகப் பயணம்

கனடாவில் நாடகக் கலைஞரும் இயக்குனருமான பார்த்தா சங்கரா அவர்களினால் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பெற்ற ‘மிசிசாகா க்ரியேஷன்ஸ்’ மேடை நாடக அமைப்பானது தனது 20 ஆண்டுகளின் வெற்றிகரமான மேடை நாடகப் பயணத்தின் வெற்றியை சிறந்த மேடை நாடகங்கள் மூலம் கொண்டாடி மகிழ்ந்தது.

2025 ஆகஸ்ட் 9ம் தேதி, சனிக்கிழமை, மிசிசாகா Meadowvale Theatre அரங்கில்,“Mississauga Creations 20th Celebrations” சிறப்பு விழாவிற்கு பல துறைசார்ந்த வெற்றியாளர்கள் அழைக்கப்பெற்றிருந்தார்கள்.  அவர்களில் பலர் மிசிசாகா க்ரியேஷன்ஸ் நாடக அமைப்பிற்கும் அதன் நிறுவனர் பார்த்தா சங்கரா அவர்களுக்கும் தங்கள் ஆதரவை கடந்த காலங்களில் வழங்கி வந்தவர்கள் என்பது இங்கு குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

. கடந்த இருபது ஆண்டுகளாக, பார்த்தா சங்கரா தொடங்கி நடத்தி வரும் இந்த தமிழ் நாடகக் குழு, தனது சொந்தக் கதைகள், இயக்கம், நடிப்பு மூலம் கனடாவில் உள்ள தமிழ் மக்களை கவர்ந்து வருகிறது. அத்துடன் தமிழகத்தின் நாடகப் பாணியில் பல நகரங்களில் பேச்சு வழக்கில் உள்ள மொழிசார்ந்த உரையாடல்களை உள்ளடக்கி நாடகங்களை வழங்கிவருவதால் அவற்றின் மூலம் ரசிகர்கள் ”நல்ல நாடகங்களை சென்னை மேடைகளில் பார்த்து மகிழ்வது போன்று கனடாவில் இருந்து கொண்டே ரசித்து மகிழ்வதற்கு சந்தர்ப்பமாகவும் அமைந்தது. அத்துடன் நகைச்சுவை அதிகளவில் கலந்து உரையாடல்களுடன் வெளிப்பட்டதும் ரசிகர்களுக்கு இரட்டை மகிழ்ச்சியாக அமைந்தது.

அன்றைய நாடக விழா நிகழ்ச்சியானது பார்த்தா சங்கரா, வழங்கிய 11 முன்னைய நாடகங்கள் கொண்ட ஒரு அழகான ஆடியோ–விசுவல் தொகுப்புடன் ஆரம்பமாகியது. பழைய நாடகங்களை பார்த்து பலருக்கும் இனிய நினைவுகள் வந்தன. அதன் பிறகு, பார்வையாளர்கள் ஆவலுடன் காத்திருந்த புதிய நகைச்சுவை நாடகம் “Sing & Bung” வெளியிடப்பட்டது. இது பார்த்தா அவர்களின் பன்னிரண்டாவது அசல் கதை என்பது குறிப்பிடத்த்ககது . வழக்கம்போல சிரிப்பும் சுவையும் நிரம்பிய நாடகமாய் இருந்தது.

மேற்படி நாடகத்தில் முக்கிய பாத்திரமேற்று நடித்தவர் , சென்னை “Crazy Creations”நாடக அமைப்பின் நிறுவனர் திரு. மாது பாலாஜி என்பது ரசிகர்களை பெரிதும் மகிழ்வித்தது.
அதன் பின், பல முக்கிய விருந்தினர்கள் வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினர்:

இவ்விழாவின் சிறப்புப் பேச்சாளராக, சென்னை “Crazy Creations”-இன் திரு. மாது பாலாஜி வந்திருந்தார். அவர் அளித்த முக்கிய உரை அனைவரையும் கவர்ந்தது. அதற்கு பின், அவர் பிரபலமான Nil Gavani Crazy உரையாடல் நிகழ்ச்சியையும் நடத்தி, அரங்கையே சிரிப்பால் நிறைத்தார்.

அன்றைய விழா மண்டபம் நிறைந்திருந்தது. 395 பேருக்கு டிக்கெட்கள் விற்கப்பெற்று விற்று நிரம்பிய அரங்கு, தமிழ் நாடக மேடைக் கலைக்கு மக்கள் தரும் அன்பையும் ஆதரவையும் காட்டியது. விழாவைப் பற்றி பார்த்தா சங்கரா அவர்களின் உருக்கமான உரை பின்வருமாறு அமைந்தது:

“இருபது ஆண்டுகளாக நம்ம சமூகத்துக்கு சிரிப்பும் கலைச் சுவையும் கொடுக்க முடிந்தது ஒரு பெருமை. இந்த ஆர்வப் பயணம் தொடரும். இன்னும் நிறைய கதைகளும், சிரிப்பும், சந்தோஷமும் நம்ம அரங்கில் வரும்.”

20 வருடப் பயணத்தை முடித்து, Mississauga Creations அடுத்த கட்டத்துக்கு செல்லும் நிலையில், ஒன்று நிச்சயமாகத் தெரிந்தது — திரை மீண்டும் மீண்டும் உயர்ந்து, மகிழ்ச்சி, பண்பாடு, மற்றும் ஒற்றுமையைக் காட்டிநின்றது.

Mississauga Creations Marks 20 Years of Tamil Theatre Excellence !!

On Saturday, August 9th, 2025, the Tamil theatre community in Mississauga came together at Meadowvale Theatre to celebrate a remarkable milestone — Mississauga Creations 20th Anniversary Celebrations. Founded by Partha Sankara, the group has been a pillar of Tamil stage drama in Canada for the past two decades, delighting audiences with original productions written and directed by Partha and performed by its dedicated team.

The evening began with a nostalgic audiovisual medley featuring highlights from the group’s eleven past productions, bringing back fond memories for long-time patrons. This was followed by the much-anticipated inauguration of the brand-new comedy play, Sing & Bung — Partha’s twelfth original script, which promises to carry forward the group’s tradition of witty storytelling and engaging performances.

The celebration was further enriched by heartfelt felicitations from distinguished guests, including:

• Mr. Baskraran Rajamani, Senior Partner (Retired), Deloitte Canada.
• Mr. Logan N. Logendralingam, Editor-in-Chief, Uthayan Newspaper
• Mr. Krishna Sankar, Founder, Kalalaya and Direction FX
• Dr. V. Raghuraman, Professional Psychiatrist and Theatre Personality
• Mr. Hari Raghavan, Entrepreneur, Investor, and Philanthropist

The highlight of the evening was the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Maadhu Balaji of Crazy Creations, Chennai, India. His inspiring keynote address was followed by his signature talk show, Nil Gavani Crazy, which had the audience in splits.

With a sold-out crowd of 395 people, the celebration was a testament to the enduring love the community has for Tamil theatre. Reflecting on the journey, Partha shared,

“It is heartening to know we have been able to entertain the community for twenty long years. This journey of passion continues, and we look forward to bringing more laughter, stories, and connections to our audiences.”
As Mississauga Creations steps into its next chapter, one thing is certain — the curtain will keep rising on more moments of joy, culture, and community spirit.
